In 1987, Mr Pampus bought Domaine La Blaque together with 50 hectares vineyard and the Bastide of Châteauneuf that was to house the wine cellar.

The management of the Domaine was entrusted to Gilles Delsuc, a qualified oenologist from the University of Dijon.

Assisted by his wife Laurence, who is also a qualified oenologist, they spared no effort to develop and grow the Domaine. Planting of vine stocks was greatly improved and the vineyard now covers a surface area of 55 hectares.
